Utica Council of the Blind (UCB)


UCB MISSION and PURPOSE :

We are the UTICA COUNCIL OF THE BLIND (UCB) and our mission is to support and promote the educational, vocational and social advancement of blind and visually impaired persons.
Furthermore, UCB's purpose is to:
Educate the general public as well as the blind and visually impaired as to the rights, responsibilities, problems and potentials of blind and visually impaired persons; providing maximum opportunities to become self-sufficient, self-supporting, and productive members of society.
Utica Council of the Blind gives particular and special attention to the specific needs of blind or visually impaired persons in Utica, New York and the surrounding areas.






Meeting Location and Time:

Utica Council of the Blind meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 12:30 pm in the community room at CABVI, which is located at 507 Kent Street in Utica New York.
